Merlin Association for Promotion of Creativity
Traditional manifestation "Days of Antiquity" took place on several locations in Pula city center during three days starting from the 12th of June. During the entire event Merlin Association presented its handcrafts on the central point of sale on the Pula Forum (Square). The handcrafts made in "Roman smiles" workshop sparked interest with many tourists and local people.
On the 30.05.2014. the lecture on responsible parenting led by Doris Velan (pedagogue in "Olga Ban" kindergarten) was held in the premises of our Children's center. The recently established cooperation has hereby continued in a positive atmosphere. Mrs. Velan was warmly welcomed by our parents and her interactive lecture named "Preparing children for school" was seen by an uncommonly high number of parents. On the 26.05.2014. children from the Children's center "Morning Flower" had an interesting educational visit to our partners and associates in the "Olga Ban" kindergarten in Pazin. The recently established cooperation received its proof soon as we were invited to visit their kindergarten during their "Kindergarten days".
From April 29 to May 21, 2014 Merlin Association organizes a creative workshop "Roman smiles", teaching how to make handicrafts by processing the clay and the cast made from plaster, which is inspired by the cultural and historical Roman monuments in the city of Pula.

For fifteen years, the Society Our Children Pula has been successfully organizing Children's Carnival and Masquerade for preschool and school-age children. Merlin Association joined the carnival parade and a central program in the amphitheater (Arena) on 27 February 2014. Twenty children from the preschool playroom "Morning Flower" participated in the carnival.
