On 26th October 2014, Merlin Association made a guest appearance on TV show "Small World", which is showing on TV Nova Pula station. The show presented the Association's project "Educational integration of Roma children in the town of Vodnjan", which is co-financed by the EU under IPA Component IV of the operational program "Human Resources Development".

A workshop for the parents of Roma children attending the playroom in Children's Center "Morning Flower" in Vodnjan took place on 28th October 2014. The aim of this workshop was to raise the awareness of the importance of learning Croatian language from an early age. Workshop trainer, Mrs. Doris Velan, first presented a PowerPoint presentation on communication, language learning and the media. On 21st October 2014, children from the Children's Center "Morning Flower" and their parents went on an interesting educational visit to the Puppet Theatre Rijeka and the Equestrian Center Bubač Ranch located in the southern part of Učka mountain. The journey was a unique experience as it was the first longer trip for some pre-school children. During the morning we watched the imaginative play "Doctor Dollittle", with interesting puppets. On 16th October 16 2014 at the premises of the Children's Centre in Vodnjan a workshop on school commitments and family obligations was prepared and led by the teacher mentor Mrs. Miriana Ferjančić. The workshop was attended by the boys and girls attending the fifth to eighth grade, who attend the Help in Learning program provided by Merlin Association.
