We are starting with the new season of tailoring and sewing courses in Pula and Opatija.

In Pula (Rojc Building), the beginners course begins on 7th september and runs until 6th October 2016, on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m.. In Opatija (Local Board Tošina), the course starts on 2nd November nd runs until 2nd December 2016, on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays. Any beginner or advanced student can enroll until the course is full. Adult education services are part of self-financing activity of Association.

During the summer, Merlin Association participated in several events with traditional workshops for weaving on the loom frame, making woven belts and weaving on vertical loom for flax weaving. In cooperation with the Association for the Revival of the History of St. Vid from Rijeka, Merlin also participated in the "International Chivalry Tournament of Knights of Zelingrad", "3rd Medieval Day in Ribnica", and "Renaissance Festival in Koprivnica". We also visited LegendFest in Pican, Medieval Festival in Savicenta and Krk Fair.

During the academic year 2015/2016. seventeen children of preschool age from Vodnjan and Pula, who attended the playroom "Morning Flower" in Vodnjan, participated in the project ''Together to School".

Activities were carried out according to plan and program, and the project was co-financed from the funds of the Kingdom of Norway, the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, the Town of Vodnjan and Istria County. The first full day International Fair in Moncastello took place last Saturday (28 May 2016) in Dvigrad, several centuries after walls collapsed, as an announcement of sorts for a number of these fairs throughout the tourist season.

Associations from Pula, Rijeka and Slovenian Ribnica participated in this fair, and presented the medieval way of life while reviving the old crafts.

The manifestation "The Original Splendor of Arena" took place from 1st to 30th June 2016. This manifestation is organized in the scope of the creative workshops program, by Merlin Association, in cooperation with the City of Pula and the Tourist Board. It is an exhibition and sales event that takes place each year in Nimfeji, the area west of Arena.
