On 29 November 2013, health education workshop took place. Dr. Olga Angelovska gave a lecture on women's health with a focus on the reproductive health of women. The workshop was designed in the form of short presentations by the doctor, after which she provided advice while answering the questions of attendees on specific issues on the maintenance of pregnancy and hygiene and nutrition of infants.
Children's center "Morning Flower" has been renovated and opened on 3rd October 2013. Center has been renovated with the help of Croatian National Foundation for Civil Society Development, Istria County - Regione Istriana and volunteers of Roma nationality in Vodnjan. On 21 August 2013, Merlin Association has signed a contract in the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, for grant in program "Integration of Disadvantaged Groups in Regular Education System," IPA Component IV Human Resources Development for the project "Integration of Roma children in the the town of Vodnjan in the educational system of RH", which will be implemented in the next 18 months.
Merlin Association in cooperation with the City of Pula as part of the creative workshops is organizing exhibition and sales event at the location Nimfej (square by the Amphitheater) for the 8th time. We invite organizations from Pula to apply for the event and submit works of its members until 15.05. 2013. Organizations that are interested in their promotion at the exhibition - sales event that lasts for 4 months - can participate with original artifacts on the topic of cultural - historical heritage from antiquity, history, Pula and Istria.
ROMAN SMILES is an educational workshop in modeling and decorative objects in clay on the topic of cultural and historical heritage of antiquity and Roman periods of Pula. Topics include historical buildings, views, money, masks, figures of gods, monuments, grapes, olives, gladiators, patricians, lamps, ships... The most successful works will be exposed and used for making molds and casts in plaster. The workshop will present the technique of making molds for castings, and painting souvenirs in natural red soil. The workshop will be held by
