Children's center "Morning Flower" has been renovated and opened on 3rd October 2013. Center has been renovated with the help of Croatian National Foundation for Civil Society Development, Istria County - Regione Istriana and volunteers of Roma nationality in Vodnjan. In the next 18 months this project will be financed from EU funds in IPA IV component "Development of Human Resources", in cooperation with the partners - Primary School Vodnjan - Scuola elementare Dignano, Primary School Giuseppina Martinuzzi - Scuola elementare "Giuseppina Martinuzzi" and Vodnjan Town - Città di Dignano.
This year, programs in the Center will be attended by 44-50 children aged 3-15, so 4 persons have been employed by the project. This project offers two short preschool programs, which are offered on daily basis, weekly assistance in learning for students of higher grades of primary school, and parenting school. The project will promote tolerance and multiculturalism, and new vehicle for transportation of preschool children will be purchased. During the implementation of this project, the documentary material will be filmed about project activities.
