Merlin Association for Promotion of Creativity

ROMAN SMILES is an educational workshop in modeling and decorative objects in clay inspired by the cultural and historical heritage of antiquity and Roman periods of Pula. Topics include historical buildings, panoramic views, pots, money, masks, figures of gods, monuments, grapes, olives, gladiators, patricians, lamps, ships... The most successful works will be exhibited and used to make molds and casts in plaster. The workshop will present the technique of making molds for castings, and painting souvenirs in natural red soil. The workshop will be held by a graduate sculptor Anna Rupenović.

We invite all interested citizens who want to use their creativity to contribute to quality souvenirs and mementos of Pula to join our workshop in Rojc building - north wing, ground floor Room 3, from 23 April - 23 may 2013, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-7 p.m.
