The festive mood was felt these days in children's playroom "Morning Flower" in Vodnjan. Merlin Association, which is in charge of this center, has been operating for 12 years in the field of social welfare and social entrepreneurship. Since August this year, the activities of Children's Center are co-financed mostly by the EU. Traditionally, the members of Merlin Association organize holiday gift-giving with the help of partners and donors, and children are getting ready for it for days, with the help of their educator.
Recently renovated premises of the Children's Center were brightened up by the special glow of decorations made by children's hands. This year, the gifts were provided not only by Santa Claus, but also by the Wiener Insurance, a long-time partner of Merlin Association, and by the Town of Vodnjan, which also traditionally provides gifts for its youngest citizens. Christmas show was given by the members of the Waldorf School, about the spirit of the holidays and the true human values. The show delighted the children attending the Center and their parents, who are intensively involved in this project and its implementation from the very beginning. Cheerful and pleasant gathering ended up with many good wishes for equally successful year 2014 for all the participants, partners and volunteers.
